Sharper Impressions Painting completed a thorough exterior painting project in Marietta, GA, over three days. Before painting, we carefully pressure-washed the home, managing paint chips with plastic tarps and cleanup to keep the site safe and tidy.

Using Sherwin-Williams 7012 Creamy for the siding and foundation, and 9654 Taiga for shutters and the front door, we gave the house a fresh, cohesive look. Wood window sills showing rot were replaced, primed, and painted, making sure every detail was protected and polished.

Background/Story:

Our customer wanted a clean, unified look for their home’s exterior. They chose to paint the shutters and front door the same deep green color, which simplified the design and made the home feel less busy. Some wood window sills had rotted, so we replaced those before painting to keep the home sturdy.

Since the home had multiple layers of old paint, pressure washing released loose paint chips. As a lead-certified firm, we tested for lead before scraping peeling areas and applying a special grip primer on bare wood. Caulking helped seal gaps and grooves. The foundation was painted to match the siding, giving the house a taller, well-balanced appearance from top to bottom.
